When a hot tap or line stop is required, and a shutdown is not an option, Bluestem can offer a tailored solution and economical alternative to a costly shutdown with our reliable equipment and skilled technicians.
Bluestem’s On-Line Leak Repair services allow repairs to be made without product loss or interruption to operations.
Utilizing repair procedures and safe work practices that are non-destructive to maintain both the integrity and useful life of the component.
Bluestem’s field machining capabilities allow on-site repairs to be made to vessels, piping, or critical equipment while in place.
Field machining services include refacing of various types of gasket surfaces and pipe cutting and beveling.
Bluestem utilizes double block & bleed hydrotest and isolation tools that are designed to provide an isolation barrier from hazardous upstream vapors while localized field repairs and/or modifications are made.
Our pipe isolation and weld test crews can verify the integrity of a flange installation weld and/or welded joint.
Bluestem can offer the use of Manual, Hydraulic, or Pneumatic tools for each application. Our Bolting solutions vary from Torquing to Tensioning,
to include Ultrasonic Bolt Load Verification. Utilizing a skilled workforce trained to PCCI guidelines, combined with calibrated equipment, quality and safety is focused on each joint.
